**Return Policy**

At Kale & Kardigans Boutique, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we are here to help!

**Eligibility for Returns**
**Time Frame**: You may return items within 10 days of receiving your order.
**Condition**: Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received them. All original tags and packaging must be intact. Items must not contain an excessive amount of human and/or animal hair and must be free of any makeup, deodorant, perfume smoke. Any item that does not meet these requirements will be subject to denial.
**Non-Returnable Items**: Certain items are non-returnable for hygiene reasons, such as earrings, swimwear, and intimate apparel. Final sale items are also NOT eligible for return.

**How to Initiate a Return**
1. **Contact Us**: Email our customer care team at shopkaleandkardigans@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return. 
2. **Approval**: Once your return request is approved, we will send you a return authorization and detailed instructions on how to return your item. You will have 5 days from the date the return authorization is emailed to you to send back your items.
3. **Shipping**: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or defective item).

**Refunds**
**Processing Time**: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
Refunds will be issued via email as STORE CREDIT ONLY.

**Exchanges**
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item in a different size, please follow the return process, and indicate that you would like an exchange. Exchanges will need to be received and inspected for approval before we are able to issue the exchanged item. In the event that the item you returned for an exchange is out of stock we will unfortunately not be able to exchange your item but we will issue you store credit for the item returned. 

**Damaged or Defective Items**
- Here at Kale & Kardigans Boutique we diligently check each and every clothing piece and accessory to ensure that there are no damages and/or defects. However, if you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 2 days of receiving your order. If we are not notified within the 2 days that you have received your defective or damaged item, it will no longer qualify for a return. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

  • We are not responsible for damages or defects to clothing or accessories caused by recipients improper care or handling of the item. 
  • Colors of merchandise may vary due to indoor/outdoor lighting, type of camera used and computer monitor resolution. Clothing patterns may also vary. These do not qualify as defects and the buyer will need to go through the return process above for a store credit refund. 

**Late or Missing Refunds**
- If you haven’t received your store credit within the specified time frame please contact our customer care team at shopkaleandkardigans@gmail.com. So we can correct the issue and make things right.
